The Inevitable

In The Inevitable, Kevin Kelly argues that twelve long-term technological forces are already reshaping how we live, work, and think, and that understanding them is less about prediction than about direction. Drawing on decades of observation as a founding editor of Wired, Kelly frames these forces not as choices but as trajectories: ongoing, overlapping shifts that societies will have to adapt to rather than avoid.
