Longer thoughts on I Will Teach You To Be Rich: Spend extravagantly on the things you love, and cut costs mercilessly on the things you don't. I’ve recommended this idea to two friends already. I’ve read a lot of “same advice, new packaging” books… Nudge wasn’t that. A choice architect has the responsibility for organizing the context in which people make decisions. The Book Drop summary made the structure crystal clear. I’m copying one framework into my notes and testing it for 7 days. Will update if it sticks!
Honest review after the summary of Start With Why: People don't buy what you do; they buy why you do it. What surprised me most is how practical it felt. Not fluff. I wrote three notes in my phone and already used one in a meeting today. Curious if anyone else got the same takeaway!
Finished No Rules Rules via Book Drop and I keep coming back to this idea. Adequate performance gets a generous severance. I’ve been rushing my goals for months — this made me rethink the systems underneath. Going to try one tiny daily habit this week and see what compounds.
