『Giù le zampe, faccia di fontina!』要約

"Giù le zampe, faccia di fontina!" by Elisabetta Dami plunges readers into another thrilling adventure starring the beloved mouse journalist, Geronimo Stilton. This installment sees Geronimo, always in pursuit of the perfect story or a moment of tranquility, planning a much-needed writer's retreat. His intention is to escape the hustle and bustle of New Mouse City and dedicate an entire week to completing his next great novel in peace and quiet. To achieve this, Geronimo books himself into the secluded and somewhat eerie Old Cheese Castle, a sprawling, ancient edifice rumored to hold its own secrets. However, his aspirations for a solitary, productive week are quickly dashed with the unexpected arrival of his boisterous family members: his adventurous sister Thea, his prankster cousin Trap, and his sweet nephew Benjamin. What begins as a quest for literary inspiration quickly transforms into a classic Stilton-esque mystery as the group encounters strange noises, peculiar shadows, and unsettling phenomena within the castle's creaky walls. They uncover clues suggesting that the castle might be haunted or, perhaps, hiding a valuable, long-lost treasure. Geronimo, despite his initial reluctance and desire for solitude, finds himself drawn into investigating the spooky occurrences, using his journalistic instincts to unravel the truth behind the castle’s legends and the identity of the "cheesy face" alluded to in the title. The narrative, like all books in the series, features a distinctive visual style, with a playful typography that employs varying fonts, colors, and sizes to emphasize key words, adding an extra layer of humor and engagement to the unfolding adventure.
